World re-known artist, Peter Max, and his wife Mary, an avid animal activist and board member of the Humane Society of the United States graciously donated funds to construct a new Adoption Wing at the Hudson Valley SPCA.  They also agreed to continue to donate for a three year period.  Mary & Peter hosted the HVSPCA's 2009 Gala fundraiser at the Max Studio in NYC.  The pictures below show the facility as it was being constructed.
