I just wanted to let you all know that Boston is doing really well. We named her Bella and she is learning her basic commands very quickly. She loves our cat Smokey and jumps on him every chance she gets. My kids adore her and my husband loves to take her for walks and rub her belly.

Yo-Yo was found in the road abandoned by someone at aprox. 3 weeks old (along with his 2 sisters). He was so young, he had to be bottle feed, and made to go potty. He is now happy, and healthy, here in our home. My Grand daughter Melissa, named him Yo-Yo.
My 20 year old son, brought him into our lives at the worst possible time. Money was tight, and we did not feel we could afford another pet. When area shelter said they were too full to take him, and offered to help us with Yo-Yo, we thought we could help out until a good home could be found.
We have grown to love this spunky little kitty, who can be so wonderful around the grandkids. He drive us all into balls of laughter, and has fun times with the family. Mr.Yo-Yo Napoli has his forever home!

In the last year I have adopted four amazing cats from your shelter in New Windsor. I am so thankful that the staff took the time to help us find the perfect additions to our family. I know that the old shelter was a kill shelter and you have made it a no kill shelter.  Thank God for you!  One of my recently adopted cats was in the shelter system for almost 2 years.  It pains me to even think that if the old rules applied she wouldn't be here with me.  She has SO SO much love to give and I can't picture my life without her!  Again, I can't express how grateful I am to everyone at the HVSPCA for all the countless hours, patience, and love that is devoted to all your animals!  We feel very strongly about giving all animals a second chance to live longer, healthier and happier lives.  Each one of you at the HVSPCA make that possible everyday!  You are all heroes in my eyes.  Keep up the GREAT work!!
- Lena
I just wanted to thank you again for pairing me with Bonnie, the rott/shep mix.  She has a new name, Dagmar, and is very happy.  We take daily walks around the neighborhood and she no longer pulls on her leash.  She has a beautiful new bed and plenty of toys. Once she gets over her car sickness, we will stop by to say hello.  Thanks again.
- Brittney
All the animals I saw looked very well cared for, and I was happy to see them finally in a loving home. While I loved petting, playing, and watching all the dog and cats, I was also happy to be able to get great information on adopting a pet straight from the source. Thank you again, and I am looking forward to coming later in the year to deliver the blankets, food, and other pet supplies our troop will collect for this SPCA organization

I just wanted to tell you how wonderful it is to see the Hudson Valley becoming a place that is working to have a good shelter/stray/abused animal care system.  I am a Hudson Valley-er born and raised in Ulster County but moved to Philadelphia last year.  I see the immensity of the stray animal/ abuse problem here and all that the city does with it's many shelters and it's very hard to fund and keep up with, so I can imagine that a place like the Hudson Valley would be even more work!It brings tears of happiness to my eyes to see that so many people are working so hard to make the Hudson Valley SPCA so great!  I really just want to thank you all for your hard work and dedication as not only a Hudson Valley native, but an animal lover!
- Jessica Erichsen
Our thanks to the wonderful folks at the Hudson Valley SPCA for caring for Giselle until she found us. We love her so very much.
- Miriam
I think what you do for the animals is fantastic!!
There should be more in the world that care like  you do!!
- Diane
We just wanted to say thank you again for being so wonderful when we came and adopted Brooklyn.  She is doing very well in her new home and seems to love it.
- Erin and Bill
I adopted "Kellen" now named Snoopy and "Queenie".  They  both bring much joy to our family.  Queenie was quite the "handful" but gives the BEST kisses of any dog that I've ever had!
- Joanna Markowitz
In the past we have adopted 2 wonderful dogs from you - Benson (formally known as Coal) and Quincy (formally known as Dakota).  Both have passed on - we just recently lost Qunicy after having him for about 12 years.  The best dogs are the rescued ones!
- Kris Finn
I love dogs and all sorts of animals.  I hate to see animals in need; it always makes me cry.
- Karina
So grateful to have adopted Mickey and Minnie (Tammie and Chip).  God bless you for all you do for the animals.
- Janice Cannella-Knowles
